A Freshly Made Sketch by Linda

We have a fantastic sketch for you this week from Freshly Made Sketches ... our hostess is the talented Linda Callahan.

As soon as I saw this sketch I could see so many fun possibilites for it ... as I am sure you will too!

I have created a classic black and white Congratulations card, using the stamp set Fresh Vintage by SU ... for the the back panel I have used the border stamp from the set and created the background and for the front panel I have black embossed the floral image, and finally added a sentiment, a few pearls and a black ribbon to complete the picture.

I would love see what you create with this sketch ... but in the meantime, head on over and be inspired by our fab DT.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

Butterlies at Our Creative Corner

We have got a beautiful challenge for you this week at Our Creative Corner.  Irena (Rudlis) Kowalczyk, of Love Life and Crafts, is our fabulous hostess again this week.

The challenge theme is based on this inspiration photo of  "Butterflies". Make a project, card, or tag and then tell us why you love butterflies:
Isn't that one fabulous inspiration picture ... and I bet your creative muse is definitely flashing images of potential cards and projects ...

This is what I came up with:
The trio of butterflies is from Hero Arts, the papers are from SU and that fabulous sentiment is also a new stamp set from SU available now in our mini (Australia) ... oh, and the woodgrain embossed background is from Tim Holtz.

And, why do I love butterlies .... because they remind me that nothing ever stays the same, change is inevitable and dreams do come true .... if we "dare to dream" ...

Head on over to the OCC blog and be inspired by some truly awesome creations by our super DT.
