Making Melody at Our Creative Corner

We have a great challenge for you this week at Our Creative Corner. Holly Kean is the hostess with the mostess and this is how she is challenging us:
"Making Melody" - Music can be such a motivating thing in life, why not in your papercrafting too? Take inspiration from a song and work it into a papercraft project. Just make sure your post includes the song title (and if possible the artist) that inspired you!
My song of inspiration is "The Rose" by Bette Midler ... yeah, I know I could've done something to emphasise the "rose" a little bit more, but I love the ribbon and floral treatment that I see in blogland and pinterest, and thought that I would have a go whilst at the same time putting these roses to use (that have been sitting idle .... for some time!) I have matched them with More Mustard cardstock by SU.

Would love for you to join in the fun with us, but for some musical inspiration head on over and check out what our fab DT have come up for you.

Have a great week, and thanks for dropping by!

A beautiful card inspired by a beautiful song, Tui! I was just talking to my best friend about that movie "Beaches" that Bette Midler was in...instant tear jerker. Ugh! She has such an amazing voice! Your card is so elegant and I especially love the mustard and ivory color combo. You always have such a way with color. I imagine the textures on this one are even more fantastic in person. Hope you had a great day today! Hugs! :)

Hope your week is going great.
