Happy Wednesday everyone,
Thank you for stopping by ... it is sketch challenge week again at Freshly Made Sketches and I am so delighted with the fantastic response we had last week ... what a fabulous array of inspiration there was, so thank you for your support and your creativity!
This week our hostess is the lovely Rita Wright and she has a great sketch, which I love and I am sure you will too, cos it has the potential for so many possibilities - check it out:

And this is my card that I have created for my nephew's birthday:

So, upon completion of this card and having wrapped the gift (yep, left it to the last minute, had no gift wrapping paper so had to use what I had .... Kraft ...gah!!!)
Anyway with a bit of twine and a tag, this is what I got:

But now the card looks to white, too bright and .... not boyish ....
So, I replaced the white base for a Kraft base:

Much better ... and the final picture:

Oh, just thought I'd show you a close up of that star:

A new little 3d star I learnt at Jennifer McGuire's - Holiday Card Boot Camp. It doesn't get squished either cos it has a small pile of dimensionals underneath, and glossy accents on the feet ... brilliant!
Have a great week everyone and I hope you can get some time to play with us at Freshly Made Sketches .... pop on by and check out the inspiration from the fabulous Design Team!
Thought to that I'd also pop this card into Jay Gees challenge:

Bye for now ...
