Welcome back to another happy happy week over at Paper Players this week it is a sketch challenge hosted by the lovely Nance Leedy ...
This is my take on the sketch:
As per my norm, I have kept my card fairly simple .... now I say simple very loosely, the design and construction of the card is simple as you can see .... but the centre panel ... "happy, happy, happy x10) was ... oh ... awful .... next time, I will use the computer!!!
I used the "HAPPY" stamp from Basic Phrases ... but first I measured the length of the word, then gridded up a piece of cardstock allowing for a 1/8" margin and gap, then I went ahead and with my trusty stamp-a-ma-jig I stamped away ... now trusty is another word I use loosely, I think I attempted this 3 times, cos crooked still happens ... anyway, I got there in the end, and the result was okay.
Red was added for a pop of colour ... oh, and for my red rhinestones, they were my basic rhinestones coloured with a red sharpie!
In the meantime, why don't you check out what the Design Team has conjured up for your delight:
This is my final week at the Paper Players as Guest Designer, and I have had a blast .... the entire DT totally rock and I am honoured to have been a part of the fabulous team. Thank you ladies for your kindness, your generosity and your friendship.
And thank you, for popping by .... have a "HAPPY" day!
