Thank you for popping by ... it's sketch day once again at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week we are joined by the fabulous Anne Marie Hile who hails from Texas. Her creations are beautiful clean and oh so stylish ... so why not pop by her blog to and say "howdy"!
Also adding to our Design Team, I would like to welcome our two newest Design Team members, Cindy Hall and Jennifer Timko ... I am very honoured to be crafting alongside these ladies, they are extremely talented and you too will be inspired by their cool, clean designs!
So without further ado ... here is my clean card for this week:
I have used Pool Party - what a fabulous colour, I think it is now my new best friend! I used the Polka Dot EF and coloured the dots with my white gel pen (not so accurately as you can see...) The stamps are from Snow Swirled and the twine from my stash. I have rotated the sketch, but you will see that I had little room for the sentiment - don't you just hate it when a card comes together so quickly, and then it sits for 2 days because that darn sentiment just doesn't look right ... so .... I settled for the obvious!!!

This is lovely Tui, that red twine looks very striking against the Pool Party and Whisper White.
That Pool Party is fabulous and the red twine just pops against it! And you did those dots with a gel pen??? Wow I think they are perfect! Such a pretty card!

Tui, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love everything about it. The colors look amazing together and the "snow" and snowflakes really allow them to shine. I think the sentiment is perfect!
Yep, I know what you mean about that darn sentiment. It just doesn't worked with the sketch rotated. Had the same problem. I agree, Pool Party is a new favorite. Your card is so cool and gorgeous. Love the window and the pop of red. Perfect!
Howdy Tui! :) Ths is fabulous, in every way! I love the pops of red and that beautiful Baker's Twine. What a fun idea to color in the embossed polka dots with a gel pen, too. I have to give it a try. This is BEAUTIFUL! I love Pool Party too! And I have a love/hate relationship with that gel pen. Right now I don't own one because mine dried up so i tossed it! But the little dots look perfect to me! What a fresh color combo, too---just love this!
