Happy Birthday - Case Study

Hi there, and thank you for popping by!

I have a card for this weeks Case Study Challenge. It is the final week for muse Dawn Woleslagle, and I have loved her clean and elegant style.

For my card, I used these gorgeous poppies .... don't they make a lovely stamp!

This is my first challenge attempt at using copics. After much resistance and then a lot of research, I decided to join the bandwagon and invest in a few .... they really are lovely to use, but boy ... they do take quite a bit of practice and patience .... I have a lot of discarded projects but I am fairly happy with the outcome of this card.

Why don't you join in the fun over at the Case Study Challenge and see what amazing creations there are to behold.

Thanks for looking and I wish you a beautiful day!

Stamping Supplies:
Stamps: Delicate Blossoms (Hero Arts), Sentiment from Enjoy the Ride (PTI)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Peach Parfait (SU)
Inks: Basic Black (SU), Copics YR12, 16, 18, YG 17, W1, 3, blender pen, white pencil

This is gorgeous. I, too, have just bought myself a few Copics but I'm still in the experimentation phase! You've colored these flowers beautifully. I only hope I can learn how to color just as well!

Tui, gorgeous card! You are right, Copic coloring doesn't come easy! Sometimes I just have to use my Copics, sometimes I get a better effect with Classic Inks and blender pens. It's wonderful having the choice! One piece of advice on the Copic - the right paper is essential!
