I am really happy with how it turned out .... and it was soooo easy!!!
I have it displayed at Sarbe Invitations and Paper shop (where I work part-time), their colours are purple (obviously) and it looks great on the purple coloured feature wall.
So, if you have old books that you no longer need - cos I tell you, you can't even give away old encyclopaedias anymore .... here is a creative and very satisfying way of recycling those books .... AND, the older the better ....
